The glue.
It’s no surprise that Sydney’s skillset quickly translated to the Real Estate industry when she joined the TJ&Steph Real Estate Group back in 2023 given her entrepreneurial background and small town upbringing.
Born and raised in nearby Penticton, she quickly developed a deep appreciation for community while also laying the foundation for her exceptional work ethic and people skills.
Growing up, Sydney excelled at a very early age at competitive dance. She spent most of her early years travelling around the United States performing in Las Vegas, New York, Seattle and more! She was also among a small group to complete the Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams before finishing high school – an impressive example of her dedication to her craft at such an early age!
After graduating from Penticton High School in 2013, Sydney jumped straight into her family business and spent a decade learning the intricacies of running a business, including the importance of behind-the-scenes operations. She took the leap to open her own dance studio in 2017 to fill a gap in the Penticton community with a space where people of all ages could explore their love for dance. After 5 successful years of running the studio, Sydney went seeking a fresh start and new opportunity in West Kelowna where she discovered the TJ&Steph Real Estate Group and was quickly welcomed with open arms.
Since then, her ability to work under pressure, coupled with her excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering top-notch customer service has made her an invaluable asset to the team. Her creative eye and attention to detail has shined with our team since day one and is often the consistent feedback we get from clients about her integral role in most often one the biggest transactions of their life!
When she’s not coordinating listings or assisting clients, Sydney can still be found teaching dance in her free time, or hitting the gym and exploring the great outdoors. Her surprising love for fishing adds yet another dimension to her multifaceted personality. Affectionately nicknamed “the Glue” with our team, Sydney effortlessly connects those around her with her ‘team first’ mentality and infectious positivity. She is always making it a priority to keep spirits high around the office with her boundless energy and genuine care for those around her!
