Originally from Penticton, Cassandra was raised with small-town roots that instilled strong values of community, teamwork, and giving back —principles that continue to guide her today and have helped develop her into an invaluable asset in the professional world.
Growing up in a small community and an athletic family, Cassandra was immersed in sports from a very young age. Weekends and after school hours were filled playing every sport imaginable, fostering her love for an active lifestyle and teaching her the importance of friendship and teamwork.
Once she entered high school, she narrowed her focus on basketball with the goal of a full-ride scholarship to a Canadian university. After 4 relentless years fuelled by hard work and determination, she succeeded.
After landing her scholarship, she spent five transformative years at the University of Victoria, where the challenges of competitive sports and inspiring coaches not only shaped her athletic future but also instilled in her critical leadership skills, work ethic, and perseverance.
While the experience was irreplaceable and rewarding, after graduation, Cassandra felt it was time to step back from the high-pressure life of sports and explore the world. She spent three years traveling across Central America, where she learned Spanish, and later, as a self-proclaimed “beach bum” in Australia. These adventures opened her eyes to different cultures, and when she returned to Canada, she was ready for a new challenge—one that would require focus and hard work to build a meaningful career. Naturally, she was drawn to Kelowna, a place that perfectly blended small-town warmth with big-city opportunities, offering a lifestyle that allowed her to excel professionally while enjoying the great outdoors on weekends. Cassandra dove into the real estate world by starting at the front desk of a top brokerage, where her dedication and work ethic quickly propelled her through the ranks, eventually becoming Director of Operations of the highly successful brokerage within five short years.
Along the way, she had the chance to work with TJ, Steph, and Maggie at a previous brokerage, so when a gap opened up on the TJ & STEPH team, it felt ‘meant to be’. Joining the team was a no-brainer for Cassandra, who thrives in an environment where hard work, teamwork, and client care are top priorities. She’s drawn to the real estate industry because it’s a profession where your success is directly tied to the effort you put in, and she’s always been driven by the idea that results are earned through persistence and dedication. Whether it’s strategizing behind the scenes or interacting with clients, Cassandra thrives on the challenge of solving problems, making quick decisions, and balancing both the systematic side of the business and the human element of real estate. Outside of work, Cassandra loves spending time with her family and friends and embracing the Okanagan lifestyle—hiking, biking, or playing tennis whenever she can. She’s passionate about travel and makes it a point to experience new cultures every year, with a special love for finding unique and off-the-beaten-path places to stay. While she enjoys her adventures, she’s also a homebody at heart, finding peace in creating a comfortable, cozy space to unwind after a busy week. Cassandra’s journey in real estate is a reflection of her incredible work ethic, her leadership abilities, and her ability to connect with people—traits that make her an invaluable part of the TJ & STEPH team and an integral force in driving the group’s success.
